Bike Week, proudly supported by the Queensland Government, is organised annually by Bicycle Queensland. This year's theme is "more cycling, more often".
Bike Week 2012 runs from Saturday 10 March to Sunday 18 March, and features a range of events for bike riders of all ages and abilities including a women's ride, Lazy Sunday Cycle, mountain bike come'n'try and SCODY Ride to WorK Day. The week culminates with the BDO Brisbane Coot-tha Challenge, Great Brisbane Bike Ride and Goldcross Cycles Family Fun Ride. More than 5,000 people are expected to take part in these rides which range in distance from 85km to 10km.
