Frequently Asked Questions have been categorised into the topics located in the FAQs menu at left.
- What happens when I finish the ride?
Once you've patted yourself on the back and accepted the crowd’s applause it's off to the merchandise tent to receive your free event t-shirt.
NB: Entries on the day for all rides and all participants in the Goldcross Cycles Family Fun Ride do not receive a t-shirt.
- Is there anything to do post-ride?
After finishing your ride and collecting your event t-shirt, participants are encouraged to stay to cheer on other participants, watch the official presentation and prize draw. Participants and their families can take advantage of the fantastic atmosphere, live entertainment and a great array of food and beverage options.
- What time is the Official Presentation and Prize Draw?
On stage entertainment commences at 9am. The Official Presentation will begin at 11am.
- What happens if I am not at the presentation?
You do not need to be present to claim a prize. Bicycle Queensland will contact all prize winners in the week after the event to arrange the collection of prizes. Winners will also be published on the BQ website.
- When will Mt Coot-tha Hill Climb results be published?
Results for the BDO Brisbane Coot-tha Challenge Hill Climb will be available on the Bicycle Queensland website during the week after the event.
- Where do you purchase the official photographs?
The official event photographer will endeavour to photograph every participant in all events. Wear your number on the front of your bike (without folding) for easy identification. Photos can be viewed and ordered from Sporting Images website shortly after the event. Photos are searchable by Rider Bib number or Surname.
